Introduction to Woodworking Part 1
This course will introduce beginners to the joys of working with traditional hand tools. Learn how to make your very own Oak, Sycamore or Beech chopping boards in my workshop overlooking the North Sea and Robin Hoods Bay.
The course is available for one or two participants. The course requires no previous knowledge or experience, you will learn how to sharpen blades, flatten and square faces and how to set and use a Jack Plane and Low Angle Block Plane and finally what oils to finished board. The chopping board comes complete with leather carry handle.
All the necessary tools, material and training will be provided. Accommodation is available on-site if you wish to combine the training with an extended stay in Robin Hoods Bay
